What did the Romans ever do for us?

Well, quite a bit it turns out.

We've recently discovered that in the Roman era in the UK, they had professional tilers/mosaic artists that travelled across Europe recreating their designs.

They definitely didn't do walls & floors of beige or grey back in the day!!!
